Bench Press

It is the great upper body building exercises. Bench press is the simple, but powerful exercise that helps you to train your whole chest, triceps, and front shoulder. For doing this workout, just lie down your back on the flat bench, then, hold and press the bar down straight to your chest. This training lets you to move the biggest amount of weight.

If you perform bench press, you will get greater advantages than dumbbell press. Moreover, if you are doing this workout with a spotter you can lift the heavier weights as possible. So, if it is possible to have a spotter, ask them to assist you lift the heavier weight.

Squat

Squat is basically a leg building exercise, but it is also dubbed as the basic workout for muscle building. For performing this, stand up on your feet with a barbell resting over your shoulder. Get your knees bending and lower the barbell until thighs at the same level to the floor. Hold for few second and get back to the first position.

It is the first exercise that you can do while doing leg training for muscle building. You can perform it for 8-12 reps for each workout. Keep in mind to warm up your body, just before you start this training. 5-10 minutes of treadmill gives the same advantages like light squat.

Wide Grip Chin Up

It is important to boost your whole upper back, forearms and biceps muscles. Just prepare a chin up bar or machine. Then, hold it in wide grip while your palm facing away. Get started with hanging position along with arms fully extended. Then, pull your body up until your chin over the bar and back to the first position. This exercise is the very crucial for the basic workouts of muscle building. Do it and gain muscle as you desire.
